We encourage each school to host its own fair in order to select the best 10 projects to enter the COC SDC environmental science fair on October 18th   at the school’s Valencia Campus. The winning projects of the fair on the18th will be on display again on October 25th at COC’s Canyon Country Campus.
 
Group or individual projects are welcome. Every winning project will receive a ribbon and a gift certificate. Each winning group project will receive a maximum of three gift certificates
 
Group Projects:
*  All members must submit release forms.
*  However, it is not required that all group members be present on October 18th at the Valencia campus or on October 25th at the Canyon Country Campus.
 
A very limited number of outlets are available for presentation demonstrations that require electricity. Stations with outlets will be assigned based on the order of the receipt of registration/release forms.
 
**   No flammable materials may be used on the day of the presentation.
 
**   MAXIMUM project size:  36”H x 48”W
 
·         Please base projects on one of the following categories:
·         Transportation
·         Green Buildings and Design
·         Plastics and Recycling
·         Daily Toxins (in food, air, cleaning products, etc.)
·         Clothing and Jewelry, and
·         Food, Composting, and Sustainable Gardening
 
In order for your project to be displayed on Saturday, October 18th, the Sustainable Development Committee must receive registration/release forms by Friday, October 10th.
